BC’s real estate market continues to find its footing. According to BCREA, residential home sales across the province totaled $5.2 billion in August—a 4.8% decrease. The average price dipped slightly by 1% to $924,826. Sales volume also saw a 5.5% decline with 46,069 transactions. In Greater Vancouver, prices were down 1.3%, while sales dropped 3.6%. As someone who actively works in communities from Surrey to Vancouver and beyond, I’m constantly monitoring these shifts to help my clients make informed decisions. Whether you’re buying or selling, understanding these numbers can give you an edge in a changing market.
